Joanie Dehnart

This young lady has always excelled at being true to the heart and personality that God has given her, and that beautiful quality shines through in her talents as well. Over the years, Joanie has learned to go beyond the initial silliness of "doing voices" and really dig deep, to forge unique and memorable character voices, along with a repertoire of creature vocals. She finds her greatest joys not just in performing, but in mentally taking on the characters she lends her voices to. Among her favorites are characters of authority, sassiness, and a gung-ho determination. When Joanie's not called into the studio, she's manager at a retail store, loves painting, crafting, 3-D printing, and giving guys her age a run for their money whenever something heavy needs moved. Her creature vocals (growls, barks, monster groans, alien chatter) are a particular favorite of game and animation directors, and she's just as comfortable carrying long-form narration with a steady, grounded delivery. Off-mic she's a maker at heart: painting, crafting, 3-D printing, and a healthy stubborn streak that translates beautifully into characters with backbone.
